ADR

What we did

An ordered approach to cutting-edge fabrication
ADR is a design laboratory at the University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, exploring innovative construction methods through robotics. We developed a logo rooted in precision and order, featuring subtle router-like inkwells—a nod to the intricacy of their work and the logic of digital fabrication. The broader visual identity is defined by clarity, structure, and restraint. A disciplined approach to typography, spacing, and composition creates a calm, balanced framework that complements the complexity of ADR’s advanced robotic processes. The result reflects both technical rigor and considered design.
